Reviews
How RevenueHog mirrors App Store reviews daily, where you read and reply to them, AI reply rules, filters and limits. Reviews are not a web dashboard page.
RevenueHog mirrors your App Store customer reviews so you can read and answer them. There is no reviews page in the web dashboard: reviews are read and replied to in the mobile app, queried through MCP, and can be posted to Slack.
Sync
Apple has no push for reviews, so RevenueHog polls once a day. Each app's newest reviews are walked until a review already stored is reached, so a steady state costs one request per app; a first run takes a few pages of history. Edited reviews and reply states refresh on each run. Ratings outside 1 to 5 are clamped. Apps removed from App Store Connect are skipped.
Ratings
Apps carry Apple's store rating and rating count, which is what the App Store page shows. The average of mirrored written reviews can differ, because it only covers written reviews; apps with no mirrored reviews show no average rather than 0.0.
Replies
A reply is published to Apple and mirrored back onto the review; replying again overrides the existing reply. Replies are capped at 5,970 characters ("reply is too long (max 5970)"). Apple publishes asynchronously, so the next sync confirms the live state.
Reply filters partition reviews: all, none (no reply), replied (written by a person), and AI (written by the auto-responder), shown as "Replied" or "Replied · AI".
AI replies
Auto-replies are opt-in per workspace. You edit the voice prompt (a default is shown in settings); RevenueHog adds fixed guardrails after it that always win, including Apple's length cap and no em dashes. The model can use your App Store listing description (opening paragraphs only) for context, which you can switch off. If the model fails or returns nothing usable, no reply is sent.
In-app feedback
Feedback your app sends is a separate inbox; see Feedback. The mobile app's All feedback list merges reviews and feedback into one newest-first stream.
