FAQ
Short answers to common RevenueHog questions about pricing, data sources, key roles, data freshness, teams, workspaces, the MCP server and deleting data.
Pricing
The web product is free: every app, history, live feed, metrics, customers and forwarding. The only paid product is RevenueHog Alerts, an iOS in-app subscription that unlocks push alerts for your whole workspace. See Billing.
No. One purchase unlocks alerts for everyone in the workspace.
No. Apple or Google bills it, so cancel it in the store.
Data and connections
No. Revenue, MRR, churn, the live feed, customers and alerts run from your App Store Connect key. The optional SDKs add user-level attribution, the onboarding funnel, paywall experiments and in-app feedback. See SDKs.
Sales or Finance is the minimum and covers revenue and subscriptions. Finance adds payouts, App Manager adds automatic notification wiring and TestFlight, Admin adds webhooks and analytics requests. See API key roles.
Not with the minimum role. The only write RevenueHog ever makes is setting server-notification URLs, and only with App Manager or Admin and when you ask.
Apple's sales reports settle 1 to 3 days late. The live feed shows events in real time once server notifications are wired. See Data freshness.
Server notifications carry the customer price, not your proceeds, so each event estimates proceeds at 70% (or 85% with the Small Business toggle). Daily reports carry real proceeds.
USD, converted with public daily reference rates.
The App Store, Google Play and Stripe, plus Apple Ads for spend. See Data sources.
Team and workspaces
Settings → Team, enter their email, pick Member or Admin, select Invite. See Team and roles.
Yes. As an owner, select Make owner on a member in Settings → Team (or tap them on the iOS Team screen). They become the owner and you become an admin. See Team and roles.
In the iOS app, under Account → switch workspace. The web dashboard has no switcher. See Workspaces.
No. Notification rules are per person.
AI and the API
No. Analytics tools are read-only. The only write is creating a feedback API key. See MCP server.
Any MCP client that supports remote HTTP servers: claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and others. See Connect a client.
Revoke MCP tokens in Settings → MCP. For OAuth connections, remove the connector in the client; access tokens expire after 7 days.
No. iOS apps authenticate with App Attest. API keys are only for posting feedback from your own server. See API keys.
Security and privacy
Encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key held apart from the database, and never shown back. See Security.
A secret key can move money. A restricted key can only do what you allow, so RevenueHog refuses sk_ keys and asks for read permissions.
Delete your account. Workspaces where you are the last member are deleted immediately with all their data. See Delete your account.
